Children Are Intellectual or Fast Learner or Both?

A drawing of my niece abandoned in the living room and with full-heartedly curiosity stimulated me to grabbed up this soon-going-to-be-recycled paper; "Is a drawing..." I found out. She's 4 years old by the way. I was wondering whether 4 years old children understand the structure of a face? Which a face must sticks with:

• 2 eyebrows
• 2 eyes
• 1 nose
• 1 mouth
• A head that grows with hairs?

Or are they just live naively in their world with no occurrence of distorted images? Why some children tend to draw aeroplanes on top of the artwork? yet why she drew balloons? Whether is it Children tend to draw what they had frequently exposed to? Or their indulgence level are high? Or the scenario shown in the picture is their happiest moment? But why only happy moments? Did they have sad moment just like adults too?

Indeed, children are creative. They can even transform a straw to be a jet plane in imagination or maybe tie up with few shuttlecock containers and assume it was a submachine gun.

Thus, let them expand and you'll have to interpret it.
